We’ve been working tirelessly to bring exciting updates and improvements to enhance your experience in the Odyssey Region. Here’s a rundown of the latest changes and new features now live on the server:

Major Updates

• Battle Tower is now open! Test your strength by climbing the tower and face increasingly difficult challenges to earn epic rewards. Battle Tower is near Lapras Island and can be accessed via the Rotom Dex > Travel > Training.
• Raid System Each hour on the server a raid starts in various towns around the region! Take on powerful wild boss Pixelmon with your friends in battles and claim amazing loot. Stay tuned for the raid announcements by joining the server.
• PokeScramble: Every 5 minutes, a word scramble appears—be the first to guess correctly and win prizes!
• Added 2 New Towns: 
  • Bewear Village : Nestled in the heart of the Taiga Hills, this cozy village is home to roaming Bewears. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, explore charming cabins, and befriend these gentle giants—just don’t get too cozy with their hugs!
  • Pikapolis ️: Explore this ancient Greek-inspired city, filled with secrets and hidden treasures waiting to be uncovered. From ancient ruins to mysterious statues, Pikapolis offers a mix of history and adventure for the curious explorer.

Economy Improvements

• Prices Lowered: We’ve adjusted prices in the shop to make items cheaper for everyone.
• Server Shop Sell Prices Fixed: All sell prices have been corrected to provide better value when selling items.
• Buy Held Items in the In-Game Shop! /shop

New Perks & Gameplay Additions

• Training Areas by Levels: We’ve added specialized training zones, each catering to specific level ranges, helping you train efficiently. Accessed via the Rotom Dex > Travel > Training.
• Shrine Access: Players who complete all gyms can now access Shrines to summon Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos! Access this at the Shrine Center at spawn.
• Create Towns & Cities: Build your dream community! Players can now create their own towns and cities to become part of the Odyssey Region.
• Gym Leader Perks: Gym Leaders can now set up their own player gyms and offer challenges to others. /playergyms Be sure to check out Profile MC & SunBreather's gyms!
• /fast /nv /haste Effects: Premium benefits for our ranked members to run and mine faster as well as access night vision.
• Added Mega Shiny Charm: We added a special charm to skyrocket your shiny spawn rates as a benefit for our most premium Titan rank. 

️ Server Improvements

• Pixelmon Hunt Update: Hunts just got smoother! Participate in hunts with enhanced tracking, UI, and feedback /hunts
• Move Tutor: You can access a Move Tutor & Move Releaner at the top of Battle Towers!

New Features and Events

• Pokédex Rewards: Complete your Dex and earn fantastic rewards at different milestones! Check out the new /DexRewards to track your progress.
• Event Days: We’ve launched themed events like Tuesday Legends and Quest Wednesdays to keep things fun and engaging all week long!

We’ve introduced the Rotom Dex, which will be your go-to tool for just about everything on the server! Here’s what you can do with it:

• View Pixelmon Stats – Easily track your Pixelmon's progress.
• Access Pokebuilder – Customize and build your dream team.
• Pixelmon Hunt & GTS – Hunt for rare Pixelmon or trade globally.
• Vote, Jobs, and Ranks – Earn rewards and level up your role.
• Kits, Store, & Crates – Redeem kits, visit the shop, or open crates with ease.
• Warp System – Travel to biomes, towns, and gyms in seconds.
• Daily/Weekly Rewards – Claim your rewards with a simple click.
• Premium Features – Access exclusive areas, features and our new premium shop. 

World Expansion: New Towns & Areas

Starmie City

Explore our brand new underwater city, a majestic Atlantis-like area filled with hidden treasures and powerful Pixelmon! Starmie City is perfect for those who want to take the plunge into the unknown.

Magma Outpost

Venture into the dangerous Magma Outpost, headquarters of Team Magma. Defeat their boss to claim a special reward—if you dare!

Inferno Volcano

Ascend to the top of Inferno Volcano by either flying or parkouring. This fiery mountain is home to some of the rarest and strongest Fire-type Pixelmon on the server.

Map Overhaul: A More Connected World

We’ve enhanced the look of every town by adding vibrant, colorful trees and new paths/routes connecting all the towns. Now, you can explore the world on foot, by flying, or by warping through the Rotom Dex. Different cities now also has dedicated EV training zones for those seeking to max out their Pixelmon’s stats.

Premium Updates: Exclusive Areas & Quests

We’ve expanded our Premium areas with two new high-level regions:

• Sky Sanctuary – A serene area in the clouds filled with rare Flying-type Pixelmon like Dragonite.
• Gengar Island – A spooky floating island packed with level 100 Ghost, Dark, and Psychic-type Pixelmon.

Premium members can also take on new special quests with amazing rewards, including Shiny Pixelmon!

New Premium Commands

• /breed – Perfect for creating your ideal Pixelmon.
• /teach – Instantly teach your Pixelmon new moves.
• Dynamax Bands & Mega Rings – Power up with these game-changing accessories.

We’ve also introduced a Charm Kit for donors, granting exclusive charms with special abilities:

• Catch Charm – Boost your Pixelmon catching success.
• EXP Charm – Double your XP gain.
• Shiny Charm – Increase your chances of encountering Shiny Pixelmon.

New In-Game Premium Shop

We’ve added a brand-new in-game shop where Premium members can purchase rare items like Shiny Pixelmon, Legendaries, and more—all using in-game currency!

Double XP Weekends

Every weekend is now Double XP Weekend! Log in during the weekend to level up your Pixelmon twice as fast and maximize your progress.

Gym Overhaul: 21 Total Gyms + Player Gyms!

We’ve revamped the Gym system, adding 8 Standard Gyms, 8 Bonus Gyms, and 5 Mega Gyms! Defeat the gyms in order to unlock amazing rewards from the Gym Crate, including legendaries and rare items like Master Balls.

If you are a Gym Leader and up rank you now have access to creating your very own server recognized player gyms! You can apply here.

Gym Leader Application Form Guidelines

Welcome to the Pixelmon Legends Gym Leader Program! As a Gym Leader, you’ll have the unique privilege of running your own gym and challenging players to prove their skills.

Note: Only those with the Gym Leader rank can apply for this prestigious role.

What You'll Get As a Gym Leader:

- Official Recognition as a Certified Pixelmon Legends Gym Leader.

- Supply of Badges to Hand Out to Victors.

- Official Warp on the Rotom Dex Players can Travel to Anytime.

- Special Prefix Badge Before Your Name, for example Electric Gym [E]

Follow the form below to submit your application.

Gym Leader Application Requirements:

1. In-Game Name:

   • Please provide your exact Minecraft username.

2. Gym Theme:

   • Choose a theme for your gym (e.g., Fire-type, Water-type, Mixed-type, or any creative theme you can come up with).
   • Briefly explain why you chose this theme and how it will make your gym unique.

3. Gym Location:

   • Indicate where you plan to build your gym or if you already have a location prepared. (Note: Gym locations must be approved by the server staff to avoid conflicts or overcrowded areas.)
   • If you do not have a location, staff can help you choose one.

4. Gym Layout and Design:

   • Describe the layout or design idea for your gym. Consider including details like:
     • Type of terrain (e.g., forest, mountain, underground)
     • Gym layout (e.g., battle arena, waiting area, decorative elements)
   • You may also attach any screenshots, sketches, or plans to give us a visual idea of your concept.

5. Gym Battle Rules:

   • List the rules for battling in your gym:
     • Maximum Pixelmon level
     • Battle format (single battle, double battle, etc.)
     • Restrictions (e.g., no legendaries, no healing items)
   • If possible, please balance the rules to ensure a fair challenge for players.

6. Gym Leader Pixelmon Team:

   • Provide details of your main gym team. This should include:
     • The types of Pixelmon you’ll use (to fit your gym theme)
     • Levels of your Pixelmon (consider balancing levels for a fair challenge)
     • Any special strategies or unique moves your team will use to create a fun and challenging experience.

7. Gym Badge:

   • Propose a request for the badge players will earn from your gym.

8. Gym Management Commitment:

   • How often can you be available to manage your gym and accept challengers? (e.g., daily, several times a week)
   • Be ready to maintain your gym regularly, as inactive gyms may be closed.

9. Extra Challenges (Optional):

   • Are there any extra features you want to add to make your gym stand out? (e.g., puzzles, parkour, timed challenges)
   • Let us know how you plan to make your gym experience fun and unique for players.

Important Notes:

• Once your application is submitted, staff will review it. If approved, you’ll receive a message with next steps, including help with setting up your gym.
• Gym Leader responsibilities: As a Gym Leader, you’re expected to uphold the server’s rules, maintain the gym’s standards, and provide a fair and fun challenge for players.
• Inactive gyms: If you’re inactive for an extended period, your gym may be closed, and another player may take your spot.

Pixelmon Legends: Our First Season Launch – Ghost vs. Ground!

Get ready, Trainers! Pixelmon Legends is excited to announce our very first season, and we’re starting strong with an epic clash between Ghost and Ground types.

What is a Pixelmon Legends Season?

Seasons are a new way to experience Pixelmon Legends! Each season lasts for one month, introducing unique themes, special events, and exciting challenges for our community. This October marks the launch of October Harvest, Ghost vs Ground, where each player chooses a team! 

Here’s what you can expect:

What to Expect in the Ghost vs. Ground Season:

• Themed Pixelmon Tournament: At the end of the season, face off in Ghost vs. Ground tournament. Each battle will be a chance to showcase your skills, with special rewards on the line with your team. You have from now until October 31st to build your Ghost or Ground type team!
• Season-Specific Quests: Explore the Odyssey Region in search of themed quests. Whether you’re unearthing hidden treasures or battling spectral forces, these quests will push your limits!
• Exclusive Rewards: Earn special items, seasonal badges, and rare Pixelmon by completing quests and winning events. Rewards are only available during the season, so make sure to participate!
• Limited-Time Crates: This season brings Ghost vs. Ground Crates, filled with rare Pixelmon, items, and more. These crates are available for a limited time, so don’t miss your chance! Pick up some up today! Each crate is guarenteed to come with a shiny, special form pixelmon, legendary or even shiny legendary!

Ghost vs Ground Tournament Rules (October 1 - 31)

Register for Your Team: Head over to store.pixelmon-legends.com to register for your team (Ghost or Ground) for free. While you're there, you can also pick up some Phantom or Nature Crates to boost your chances of winning with rare shiny, custom-skinned Pixelmon!

Tournament Date: The tournament takes place on October 31st, where Ghost Team will face off against Ground Team to decide the champion.

Team Composition: Each player must select three Pixelmon from their team's type (Ghost-type or Ground-type). No duplicate Pixelmon or held items allowed.

Battle Format: Matches are best of one. Each victory earns a point for your team.

Winning Criteria: The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will be declared the winner. All members of the winning team will receive a prize. The top individual player with the most points from the winning team will earn a gift card to the Pixelmon Legends store.

Fair Play: Failure to follow rules will result in disqualification.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Cerulean Cove, an exclusive area available to our Gym Leader+ Rank members! This special ocean zone is home to rare, high-level Pixelmon, exclusive to Cerulean Cove. If you're a Gym Leader or higher, you can dive into this unique area by typing /warp on the server and start hunting for your new Pixelmon team today!

In addition, we’ve released the Vote Shop, where players can collect 1 Vote Point for each vote they cast for Pixelmon Legends. You can save up these points and spend them in the Vote Shop at spawn to redeem amazing prizes, including Shiny Pixelmon and even Shiny Legendary Pixelmon!

Also, we’ve added some exciting new options to the Pixelmon Legends Store! Players can now purchase individual Claim Blocks, specific Legendary Pixelmon, and even Legendaries with unique or custom skins. But that’s not all—we’re super excited to introduce the Shiny Party! When a player purchases this, everyone on the server gets a random Shiny Pixelmon! It's a party for the entire community.
